Michiana Recycling: As part of our recent acquisition of Michiana Recycling and Disposal services, LRS is proud to introduce a new curbside recycling service in Baroda Township/Village Residents. Residents will now have a separate 95-gallon cart for recycling materials, which will diminish contamination and improve sustainability efforts. The new carts will be delivered the week of March 13, 2023. On March 23, 2023, residents on the north side of Shawnee road will begin using the new recycling cart and discontinue use of the Yellow bags. Residents on the south side of Shawnee Road will begin using the new recycling cart on March 31, 2023 Recycle Guidelines Below.
1. Collection will be every other week on your current waste collection day.
2. Carts must be curbside by 7 AM on your designated collection day.
3. All recycling materials must be loosely Inside of the carts, materials should not be placed in plastic bags.
4. Containers should be placed 3 feet apart & 3 feet from any obstruction
5. Holiday service will be provided one day later than regular collection if the holiday falls Sunday through Friday.
Accepted Recyclables: Paper/Steel & Tin Cans/Aluminum Cans & Foil/Cartons/Glass Bottles & Jars/Plastic Containers
