The Village has an active nuisance cut program. Any property where grass or weeds have been allowed to grow to a height of more than six inches will be notified with a request to cut the grass or weeds. If the property is not mowed within the requested period then it will be cut by the DPW and the property owner will be billed per Village Ordinance 185.
Snow/ice removal is the responsibility of the property owner. This includes the snow and ice in driveways and sidewalks on your property.
The Village has a strict property maintenance code to insure the lasting beauty of the Village of Baroda’s housing stock. Peeling paint, broken shutters, damaged garage doors, or any other damage that is in violation of the maintenance code must be corrected by the homeowner or by the Village’s contractor at the homeowner’s expense.
Please contact the Enforcement Officer to report a violation of these codes at 269-326-6154 or email@example.com.
