Planning Commission
Overview
The Planning Commission consists of nine members. The Planning Commission is responsible for the preparation and implementation of the Master Plan, Capital Improvements Plan, administration of the zoning ordinance, and formulating proposed policies on growth and redevelopment of the Village. Currently, there are several vacancies on the Commission, if you would like to serve on the Planning Commission, please submit an application and any additional items you feel are applicable to the Village Clerk.

Master Plan - Public Hearing
RE: Notice of Public Hearing, Right to Adopt and Request for Comment
Please take notice that the Village of Baroda Planning Commission will hold a public hearing for input on an updated Master Plan, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 9091 First Street, Baroda Michigan, 49101.
The Village Council has asserted its right to adopt a Master Plan and requested comments and input from its residents, the surrounding community and other interested parties.
A draft of the Plan is available on the Village website or a hard copy can be viewed in the Village Office Written comments will be accepted through April 15, 2025 by 11:00 am. at the Municipal Building or through e-mail at barodazoning@gmail.com. All interested parties will be heard during the meeting.
Members
The Planning Commission members serve for a 3-year term. The Baroda Village Planning Commission shall have nine members. Members of the Commission as of the effective date of this division shall continue to serve for the remainder of their existing terms so long as they continue to meet all of the eligibility requirements for planning commission membership set forth within the Michigan Planning Enabling Act. The members currently are:
